Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Google Earth Pro

Given the POPS’ location in a fabric district and its proximity to the Fashion Institute of Technology, I was fascinated by fabric and its potential applications in Architecture and inhabitable space. More specifically, the use of fabric as a material, as well as the physical forms conducive to fabric when interacted or manipulated with. My intervention further seeks to explore the unique spatio-temporal relations between wind and fabric, visualise non-physical experiential elements inherent to the public realm, and interrogate the notion that interpretable and imaginative forms are limited to child’s play.
